Since I was in grade school, I have been suffering from minor to severe headaches. About 3 to 4 times a week I would wake up in the morning with a headache. So one day a friend from work suggested that I go see Dr. Petersen and that I may be having an allergic reaction to food.
So when the doctor put me on a strict dietary program for ten days, I noticed after a week that I had not had a headache. I am really happy to find out that I am allergic to certain kinds of food that cause my headaches and that it is not hereditary. All my life I thought I had inherited it from my father, because he used to have headaches all the time.
And now I try to stay away from foods that will cause my headaches.
